Gebelein – Terra Incognita in the Middle of Egypt
New research has been initiated by a team from the University of Warsaw in the micro-region of Gebelein (see the location here). Virtually all periods of Egyptian history have left their traces there and it is representative for almost every kind of archaeological sites found in the Nile valley.
